Legal

It is necessary to disclose whether you have previously taken a medical examination for immigration to the United States or if you have a criminal record with American and/or Mexican authorities.

Under the United States immigration law INA 221(d), visa applicants must undergo a physical and mental examination by a physician who has been authorized by the United States Consulate.

If you refuse to cooperate with the licensed physician, he or she may, at his or her discretion, refuse to provide you with services for the health and safety of other applicants. Doctors do not have the authority to deny a visa, but if the medical examination is not complete, the U.S. Consulate will not issue you a visa.

MEI does not have authorized legal representatives. If you require information, please contact the clinic directly.
